St. Andrew's Church
Haughton Le Skerne
Denomination: Anglican
The Parish of Haughton-le-Skerne covers the North-Eastern corner of Darlington. It is centred on the ancient village of Haughton and covers Whinfield, Spingfield, Red Hall, Whinfield Park, Haughton Grange and Haughton itself.
The parish church of St. Andrew was built in the year 1125 and is a well loved physical and spiritual landmark in the community. Although the building is old the congregation is very lively. We have a good mix of all ages and plenty of children. Our worship style is open and modern. We have a great church organ, but also a music group to add extra rhythm and vitality to worship.
The family of God: worshipping the LORD, learning from his Word,
serving the community, enjoying fellowship,
and building God's kingdom.
