ALTITUDE 2008 - July 27th - 2nd August
Martin & Mel Stand of Darlington Area Churches Youth Ministry write of a residential youth event, to which your young folks are invited.
Mel & I run a residential week for YFC aimed at 13-17 year olds who have had some kind of church connection. This year it will run from Sunday, 27th July to Saturday, 2nd August 2008 at Dovedale House in the Peak District. Activities include trip to Alton Towers, mountain biking, worship, seminars, Its a Knockout and lots more. If you have any young people you feel would benefit from this kind of residential experience please don't hesitate to contact us. National Youth for Christ has a bursary fund which we as Altitude Leaders are able to utilise if young people want to attend but finances are a problem. (Posted 3/1/08)
HARVEST 2008 - August 13th - 17th.
The NE's very own youth festival have confirmed next years dates as Wednesday, 13th August until Sunday, 17th August. These are earlier than usual due to Harvest moving to a new the venue near Stokesley. See www.harvestonline.org.uk. (Posted 3/1/08)
